The former president's Family Member Receives Expert Guidance from Tiger Woods Prior to LPGA Debut
The rising star maintains substantial social media presence
Kai Trump will have plenty of well-known supporters when she makes her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be related to Donald Trump, was granted a tournament invitation to play at the Annika competition in Florida.
Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, possesses multiple courses worldwide and frequently matches against his granddaughter.
"He's pretty good. I can't reveal details but we play competitive games," she mentioned.
The golfer shared that Trump, unable to come, counseled her: "Simply stay calm."
"My grandpa essentially told me to compete and relax," she continued.
"To me, he's simply a normal grandpa. He won't be there for the tournament. He's busy with world affairs, making him rather occupied."
Being non-professional, the golfer has played in a mere three competitions recently and holds the 461st position in AJGA listings.
But she's able to seek guidance from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with Kai's mother.
"He is the greatest golfer in the world," the young golfer said.
"And he's a more impressive person. He advised me to compete, relax, following whatever happens."
Kai will face multiple the biggest names in professional golf at the Annika, featuring second-ranked Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
Officials mentioned that her participation helps introduce the sport to wider groups, particularly reaching the next generation.
The young star has millions of followers and just introduced a personal apparel and wellness label.
Her first tee time at 17:30 GMT.
